The 2 to 2½-hour zipline canopy tour starts with a safety briefing and a ‘kitting up’ session, where a full-body harness, pulleys, and other equipment are issued and checked.
The tour consists of ten slides, each ending on a platform constructed in the trees. No climbing or jumping is necessary. All groups are escorted through the forest canopy by a lead and follow guide, providing an incredible view of the Outeniqua Yellowwoods.
Birdlife is abundant, including Knysna Loerie’s and Narina Trogon, and guides explain the ecology of the lush primeval forest. You might even spot a Vervet monkey or two.
